Ethiopia is the genetic home of Arabica coffee and grows thousands of heirloom landraces at 1,500–2,300 m. Each region has a distinctive cup: Yirgacheffe (floral, jasmine, bergamot, lemon), Sidama (sweet, berry, citrus), Guji (stone fruit, floral), Harrar (natural, blueberry, wine, spice), Limu and Jimma (balanced, wine-like).
