Tanzanian Arabica is grown on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru, in the Southern Highlands (Mbeya, Mbozi, Songwe) and in Ruvuma (Mbinga). Washed Tanzanian AA and peaberry are prized for bright acidity, black tea and citrus notes and a medium body.

Tanzania requires gemstones such as tanzanite to be value-added locally — rough tanzanite exports are restricted, so we supply cut stones from licensed dealers. Raw cashew and some oilseeds are sold through regulated auction systems with export levies; we advise on current rules at quotation.
