Supplying Switzerland importers with Kenyan coffee — quoted FOB Mombasa, CFR, CIF or DAP to Via Antwerp or Rotterdam, then rail/barge to Basel or Zurich.
Swiss trading houses and specialty roasters buy Kenyan coffee via Antwerp or Hamburg with onward rail to Basel; we can contract on FOB Mombasa or delivered terms.
Kenya grows exclusively Arabica coffee, mainly on the slopes of Mt Kenya, the Aberdare Ranges, Mt Elgon and the Rift Valley at 1,400–2,200 m. Coffee is produced by smallholders delivering cherry to cooperative-owned wet mills (factories) and by private estates. Fully washed processing with double fermentation and soaking gives Kenyan coffee its famous clarity.
Buyers we serve in Switzerland: Coffee roasters, specialty and commercial green coffee importers, distributors and private-label brands.
Switzerland hosts many of the world's largest green coffee trading houses and specialty roasters. Coffee is typically shipped to Antwerp, Rotterdam or Hamburg and forwarded by rail or Rhine barge to Basel. The Kenya–EFTA framework and Swiss tariff preferences for developing countries reduce duties on many Kenyan products.
